Inconel Alloy 625
Inconel 625 is a solid solution-strengthened nickel-based deformed superalloy with molybdenum rhenium as the main strengthening element. It has excellent corrosion resistance and oxidation performance. It has good tensile and fatigue properties from low temperature to 980 °C, and is resistant to salt. Stress corrosion under a foggy atmosphere. Therefore, it can be widely used in the manufacture of aero-engine components, aerospace structural components and chemical equipment.
The characteristics of inconel 625:
1. Excellent corrosion resistance to various corrosive media in
oxidation and reduction environments
2. Excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, and no
stress corrosion cracking due to chloride
3. Excellent corrosion resistance to inorganic acids, such as
nitric acid, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and
mixed acid of sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid.
4. Excellent corrosion resistance to mixed inorganic acid solutions
5. When the temperature reaches 40 C, it shows good corrosion
resistance in hydrochloric acid solutions of various
concentrations.
6. Good workability and weldability, no post-weld cracking
sensitivity
7. Manufacturing Certification of Pressure Vessels with Wall
Temperature ranging from -196 to 450 C
