CNC Custom Part Stainless Machining Milling Parts And Steel Parts CNC

Machining Service

CNC machining, which stands for Computer Numerical Control machining, involves the

automated removal of material from raw stock based on computer-generated instructions.

This versatile process can be applied to nearly any material, ranging from expanded polyurethane

foam to nickel superalloys. Common applications of CNC machining include the fabrication of parts

for various industries, ornamental furniture, and the production of turbine blades.

The cost associated with CNC machining is heavily influenced by factors such as required precision,

surface quality, quantity, material composition, and the overall complexity of the part.

Stainless Steel Machining Services

Our state-of-the-art machine shops are equipped to manufacture tailor-made stainless steel

components utilizing CNC turning machines and 3- and 5-axis CNC milling machines.

Our facilities boast a diverse range of 11 stainless steel types, including Stainless Steel 304,

Stainless Steel 316, Stainless Steel 303, Stainless Steel 17-4PH, Stainless Steel 416,

Stainless Steel 2205 Duplex, Stainless Steel 420, Stainless Steel 440C, Stainless Steel 430,

Stainless Steel 301, and Stainless Steel 15-5, enabling us to meet a wide array of project

requirements.

Common Stainless Steel Materials
No.Properties
Stainless steel 304/304LStainless steel 304L (CNC) has excellent mechanical properties and good machinability. Resistant to most environments and corrosive media.
Stainless steel 316/316LStainless steel 316L (CNC) has similar mechanical properties to 304, with higher corrosion and chemical resistance. Ideal for marine applications.
Stainless steel 303Stainless steel 303 (CNC) has excellent toughness, but lower corrosion resistance than 304. Ideal for high volumes, due to its excellent machinability.
Stainless Steel 17-4 PHStainless steel 17-4 (CNC) - SAE grade 630 - is a precipitation hardening alloy with good corrosion resistance. Can be hardened up to 44 HRC.
Stainless steel 416Stainless steel 416 is magnetic and has a high machinability.
Stainless steel 2205 DuplexStainless steel 2205 Duplex (CNC) is the alloy with the highest strength and hardness. Suitable for applications in severe environments up to 300°C.
Stainless steel 420Stainless steel 420 provides high strength and corrosion resistance. It is the hardest of all stainless steels when hardened.
Stainless steel 440CStainless steel 440C has improved toughness and corrosion resistance due to Carbon and Chromium content.
Stainless steel 430Stainless steel 430 is magnetic and corrosion resistant.
Stainless steel 301Stainless steel 301 is corrosion resistant similar to Stainless steel 304.
Stainless steel 15-5Stainless steel 15-5 has a higher toughness than 17-4, better corrosion resistance and transverse properties compared to other similar martensitic grades.

FAQ's

1. What size of fillets are added when no specific fillet is specified by the 3D model

or drawing?

When no specific fillet radius is outlined in the 3D model or drawing, the machinist will incorporate

fillet radii at their discretion to optimize for easy machining. In instances where a particular fillet

radius is needed, explicit specification is encouraged. As a rule of thumb, consider internal vertical

edge radii exceeding 1/3 of the depth, while internal horizontal edges may either remain sharp or

be introduced with a radius ranging from 0.5mm to 1mm.

2. Quality Assurance

The trust our customers place in us is paramount. We adhere to proven quality management

principles to not only meet customer satisfaction but also to continually elevate our performance

and capabilities.

Our extensive experience spans decades, during which we have consistently met rigorous

regulations and remained PPAP compliant in industries like automotive, aerospace, and medical

devices. These industries set benchmarks for the quality assurance we uphold across all our

manufactured products.

3. What industries do you typically work in? Who are your typical customers?

It's hard to find an industry we haven't collaborated with! Our clientele represents diverse sectors,

including heavy equipment manufacturing, general commercial enterprises, and businesses in

industrial, transportation, medical, and consumer domains, among others.

Our customer base extends across the United States, Europe, and beyond. What unites them is

a shared requirement for precision-machined parts delivered on time and within budget constraints.
