Polyreflex's polypropylene (PP) honeycomb panel exhibits a unique
sandwich structure with a honeycomb structure inside, and one/two
flat surfaces have bubble or flat surfaces. It is light, waterproof
and durable.
It is widely used in turnover boxes, automobiles, packaging, flight
boxes, floor protection, signs, as back and side panels,
partitions, partitions, tables or general interior decoration.

Advantages of using polypropylene honeycomb panels
Polypropylene is an excellent material with high chemical
resistance, so it is very suitable for use in corrosive
environments. It can be used as a panel and can be easily machined
or welded to suit various applications. If you are looking for
durable and reliable building panels, you can consider using
polypropylene honeycomb panels, furniture panels, building
partitions, fairings or ceilings. It can also be used as the roof,
wall or floor of truck trailers and buses, or as a walkway in parks
and gardens. Likewise, they can be used as high-end packaging
materials or radomes.
However, if you plan to use polypropylene honeycomb panels, you can
always rely on their high compressive strength and light weight.
Its excellent corrosion resistance ensures protection against
damage caused by sea water and chemicals. The material also has
moisture-proof and waterproof functions, as well as good sound
insulation properties. Polypropylene honeycomb panels are both
impact and compression resistant, so they can withstand external
forces to reduce collision and impact damage. This product is also
a good insulator and will ensure a stable internal temperature.
Polypropylene honeycomb panels are environmentally friendly because
they can be recycled when they need to be replaced or no longer
needed. When used in construction and construction applications,
they can be turned into door panels, roof linings and covers for
vehicle spare tires, or they can be turned into formwork panels and
concrete castings. They meet the requirements of FDA, RoHS, NSF and
USDA, so they can ensure a high-quality structure, thereby
extending asset life. Polypropylene may be easy to cut, weld, print
and crease, but they have good impact properties, strength and
stiffness.
In cost-sensitive applications in the automotive industry,
polypropylene honeycomb panels help reduce the weight of the final
product. The panel is easy to form to use thermoforming to create
3D parts. The method also sandwiches the panel to mold it into
complex parts and place a composite skin on the honeycomb. For
panel manufacturing, polypropylene honeycomb panels can be
converted from resin to panels in one production line, thereby
speeding up the turnaround time.
Some suppliers can provide polypropylene honeycomb panels with or
without a nonwoven polyester veil, which can help build better
bonds. They may also provide a film barrier under the polyester
veil, so you can limit the use of resin. High-quality polypropylene
honeycomb panels can also resist damage caused by fungi and can
withstand temperatures up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit.
