Introduction
The process of electrostatic powder coating line
1. Pretreatment
Objective
To remove the oil, dust and rust on the surface of the workpiece,
and to form a film layer which can resist corrosion on the surface
of the workpiece and improve the adhesion of the spray coating.
Main process steps
Degreasing, rust removal, chromium free passivation. Common
pretreatment includes soaking, spraying, sandblasting and so on.
2. Electrostatic spraying
Objective
To spray the powder coating evenly on the surface of the workpiece.
Process stage
Using the principle of electrostatic adsorption, evenly spray
powder coating on the surface of the workpiece. The fallen powder
can be recovered through the recovery system and reused after
sieving.
3. High temperature hardening
Objective
To heat the powder coating on the working surface to the specified
temperature, keep it warm for an appropriate time, melt, level and
harden, so as to achieve the required working surface effect.
Process stage
Push the sprayed workpiece into the hardening furnace, heat it to
the predetermined temperature, and keep it warm for an appropriate
time. Turn on the furnace, take out the cooling, and you can get
the finished product.

Working principle
Electrostatic powder coating refers to the use of electrostatic
high voltage polarization of polar molecules. Polyester, polyamide,
epoxy and other synthetic polymer powder coatings are applied to
the surface of the workpiece after surface treatment (such as
phosphating treatment) by electrostatic spray gun, and then the
workpiece passes through the drying chamber to form a strong and
corrosive coating.

static electricity, the powder is uniformly adsorbed on the surface
