Product
PLA (Polylactic acid) is thermoplastic aliphatic polyester made of renewable resources
like corn or starch. Its extrusion-temperature is much lower than
ABS, and most often doesn't require a heated bed. It has the
following characteristics:
Good toughness high strength, high stiffness ;
No block nozzle, good stick hot bed, a smooth PLA used
Can be processed at 185 degrees
Low shrinkage, thermoforming dimensional stability
Characteristics:
PLA can be processed in low temperature
PLA with 3mm can be processed in 185
PLA tastes like fried corn
With high intensity and stiffness, PLA can print structure parts of
3D printer for DIY users
PLA enjoys excellent formability, low thermal denaturation and only
0.3% shrinkage, making firm adhesion between layers
PLA has bright colors and can be made semi-transparent
PLA, as an environment biomaterial is extracted from corn
Have good surface gloss and smoothness
Sends out noodors in processing
PLA can avoid curling and warping in printing

1) suitable for all kinds of FDM 3D printer. Baseplate do not need
heated.
