pile filter cloth media for swage treatment white color
The pile fibres used in this patented process are comparable in
their structure to an animal fur. During filtration the individual
pile fibres lie flat to form a dense and effective barrier to
suspended solids. During backwash, the fibers briefly stand
vertically inside the suction header, so that the retained solids
are easily removed.
By using the filtration capabilities of the very fine fibres in the
unique pile cloth media, very high particle separation efficiencies
are achieved while operating at high hydraulic loading rates,
handling high solids loading events and producing low washwater
volumes.
APPLICATION
- Retention of residual solids from secondary clarifier caused by
bulking sludge, scum formation and / or hydraulic overload
- Separation of the excess sludge after rotating biological
contactors, trickling filters and other biofilm processes instead
of conventional secondary clarifier
- Reduction of the phosphorus content in the effluent of existing or
new wastewater treatment plants in combination with coagulation and
flocculation
- Reduction of micro-pollutants (or trace elements) in combination
with powdered activated carbon (PAC)
- Solids removal by physical/chemical treatment
- Pre-filtration to nitrification system biofilms
- Pre-filtration with UV disinfection
- Pre-filtration to membrane filtration, MF/UF
- Pre-filtration in drinking water from surface water
- Road wastewater treatment (technical SABA)
- Combined sewer overflows
- Operating water treatment
- Circulation water
- Upgrading of sewage treatment pond
- etc.
SPECIAL ADVANTAGES
- High solids loading capacity
- High separation efficiency
- High throughput
- No uplift pumping required
- No interruption during the cleaning
- No rinsing and no washwater supply tank required
- Small footprint
- Continuous operation
- Insensitive to shock loads
- No breakdown due to overload
- High operational reliability
- Chemical cleaning is not required
- Filter cloths can withstand very aggressive environments i.e. low
pH
- Simple cloth change procedure
- Low maintenance requirements
- Low energy consumption (only 1-5 Wh/m3 sewage)
- Low operating costs
