Mach-Scannable
Remarkably durable. Incredibly accurate.
We recently took our time-tested, clinically-proven die silicone, Mach-2, and re-formulated it to better meet the needs of today’s CAD/CAM dental practitioner. The result Mach-Scannable It has the same great physical properties as Mach-2, but with a modified surface that allows high-resolution scanning and image reproduction using an intra-oral scanner. Use it to capture exact details in areas of the mouth where normal scanning techniques are otherwise too difficult.
Extremely handy, this vinyl polysiloxane material displays low viscosity for superior detail reproduction and takes just a few short steps to apply:
That’s it! The entire process takes approximately two minutes. What you get is a working die that captures every detail of an otherwise too-difficult-to-scan prep. And the best part? There’s no powdering necessary at all.
Now just scan the Mach die with your scanning camera to produce a digitized image of the prep. Mach-Scannable produces a very low amount of speckle noise, so you’ll get a precise electronic impression that your CAD/CAM system can quickly turn into a well-fitting prosthesis.
A Mach-Scannable die is durable, non-sticky and very smooth. It registers a final Shore A durometer of 88+, but you can still cut it with a common razor blade or Bard Parker for easy handling. Mach-Scannable isn’t crumbly and won’t chip, abrade or crack. And since no burs are necessary, there’s no dust either, which means your scannable die is sure to be artifact-free!
