The double roller granulator is a special pelletizing equipment designed for materials with moisture content of 15% - 25% and certain viscosity, which is mainly used in the construction ceramsite industry. The double roller extrusion granulator can directly press dry powder materials into particles at normal temperature. It can not only produce multi-element compound fertilizer based on the granulation of compound fertilizers such as ammonium carbonate, urea, ammonium phosphate chloride, potassium chloride, etc., but also apply to the granulation of magnetic fertilizer and rare earth fertilizer. Advantages of extrusion granulation:
1. Energy-saving and consumption-reducing extrusion granulation is
the granulation of materials at room temperature. Compared with
other methods, it does not require fuel oil, gas and other drying
measures.
2. Steam granulation is the common production method of compound
fertilizer in China without additional adhesive. After condensation
and crystallization between the molecules of the material, the
water vapor acts as an adhesive during the manufacturing process.
However, in the drying process, the water inside and on the surface
of the particles must be driven out, otherwise the fertilizer is
easy to bind and agglomerate in the storage process. However, dry
granulation does not need additional additives, but only uses the
intermolecular force of the material itself, simplifying the
process and reducing energy consumption.
3. Low investment: the drying process is omitted, and the return
ratio is low (accounting for about 15% of the total feed of the
extruder). The process flow is simple and the investment is low.
