Description:

GBT 18674-2018 3-strand Mixed Polypropylene and Polyethylene Fishery Ropes is a strong, lightweight, abrasion resistant, thermally bondable and comfortable rope. It is also resistant to sunlight, soil and staining. Mixed polypropylene and polyethylene is resistant to deterioration from chemicals, perspiration, mildew, rot and weather. It also has quick drying properties and able to provide a good bulk and cover. It is made up of bi-component fibres made of a blend during extrusion of polypropylene and of polyethlene, with a minimum of 15 % and a maximum of 50 % of polyethylene. GBT 18674-2018 3-strand Mixed Polypropylene and Polyethylene Fishery Ropes can be widely used in Krill trawl net, Marine ranch super - large wind and wave cage.

A rope bent around a post, capstan, pulley or sheave may break at a significantly lower force. A knot or other distortion in a rope may significantly reduce the breaking force.
