The construction principle of the electric ball valve:
The electric ball valve is simple in structure,
consisting of only a few parts, and the data consumption is low;
the volume is small, the weight is light, the installation size is
small, the driving torque is small, and the pressure regulating
valve. It is easy to operate and agile. It can be quickly opened
and closed by rotating 90°, and it also has good flow regulation
and closed sealing characteristics. In the application of large and
medium caliber, medium and low pressure, electric ball valves are
the dominant valve situation. When the electric ball valve is in
the fully open position, the thickness of the disc is the only
resistance when the medium flows through the valve body. Therefore,
the pressure drop generated by the valve is small, so it has a good
flow control feature.
The electric ball valve has two sealing types: a
spring seal and a metal seal. Elastomeric sealing valve, the
sealing ring can be mounted on the valve body or attached to the
periphery of the disc. Valves with metal seals generally have a
longer life than elastomer-sealed valves, but it is difficult to
achieve a complete seal. Metal seals can accommodate higher
operating temperatures and elastomeric seals have temperature
limitations. If the electric ball valve is requested to be used as
a flow control, it is important to accurately select the size and
type of the valve. The construction principle of the electric ball
valve is particularly suitable for the manufacture of large
diameter valves. Electric ball valves are not only widely used in
general industries such as petroleum, gas, chemical, and water
disposal, but also used in cooling water systems of thermal power
stations.
Commonly used electric ball valves are two
types of clip-on electric ball valves and flange type electric ball
valves. The clip type electric ball valve uses a stud bolt to
connect the valve between the two pipe flanges. The flange type
electric ball valve has a flange on the valve, and the flanges on
both ends of the valve are connected to the pipe flange by bolts.
The strength performance of the valve refers to the ability of the
valve to be subjected to the pressure of the medium. Valves are
mechanical products that are subject to internal pressure and must
be of sufficient strength and rigidity to ensure long-term use
without cracking or deformation.
