The adjustment method of overhead camshaft valve clearance
(1) Remove the intake and exhaust valve chamber cover and the magneto cover;
(2) Rotate the magneto rotor so that the "T" engraved line on the outer circular surface is aligned with the engraved line on the casing, and the piston should be at the top dead center of the compression stroke.
(3) Insert the feeler gauge with the specified valve clearance value carefully into the valve clearance and pull it back and forth. If you feel a little resistance, the clearance is suitable.
(4) If the gap is not suitable, turn the adjusting nut and use a small wrench to turn the adjusting screw while pulling the feeler gauge to check the gap. After the gap is suitable, the gap will change after tightening, and the feeler gauge should be used for another test.
