More Superhard Polyceystalline Diamond Cutting Tool Planks
PCD blanks for cutting tools sintered by ultra-high pressure high temperature with micro-diamond particles and carbide alloy, consist of polycrystalline diamond and carbide alloy substrate. Its hardness and wear resistance is as well as the natural diamond and the toughness as same as carbide alloy. The workpiece processed by this cutting tools has finish surface and no need being ground. It is an ideal tools material for its long life and high efficiency.
PCD cutting tool blanks are produced by sintering selected diamond
particles at high pressure and high temperature, and consist of
diamond layer and tungsten carbide substrate.
Specifications:
Polycrystalline Diamond Compact(PDC), is manufactured with a diamond layer attached to a carbide substrate. Combining the properties of both super hardness and abrasion resistance of diamond with outstanding strength and toughness of of tungsten carbide, PDC has been widely used in mechanical industry, oil well drilling, geological prospecting drilling and coal mining.

Application:
PCD Cutting tools: PCD cutting tools are mianly used for precessing aluminum and aluminum alloys (various silumin), copper and copper alloy, Babbitt metal, wood and various kinds of wood based fiber material,aluminum oxide reinforced floor boards, various kinds of wear-resistance plastic,bakelite, graphite,stone meterial, tungsten carbide, hard cartons,etc, where high abrasion resistance and good surface finish are required
They have high hardness, abrasion resistance and impact resistance, and widely used for oil/gas drill bit, rock drill and coal mining drill bit, also can be used for diamond tools for cutting, grinding, polishing.
