DESCRIPTION AND PROPERTIES:

1. This describes a coating that needs to be mixed with a hardener, catalyst or activator.
2. Once it hardens it is much less susceptible to damage from chemicals, weather, or UV rays.

Precautions:

Applying 2k coat  to a vehicle is a key process for obtaining an excellent final finish on a car repainting job. However, it is also a process in which different problems and difficulties can arise, which can lead to different painting defects. It is therefore important to consider the factors that influence a correct application and final performance of the clearcoat when applied to a car.

Preparation:
 

• Carry out any repairs, making sure you do not overlap the body filler over the existing paintwork.
• Treat any rust spots with Ferrozinc rust cure, spot primer and bare metal with MJ COAT primer.
• Flat the car with 600 grit wet/dry paper or 400 grit DA Discs, remove any dust with an air blow gun, then use a tack cloth before you wipe with Jawel pael wip wax and grease remover.

2K Paint: STIR WELL AND CHECK COLOUR

• Most colour problems are caused because the paint has not been stirred thoroughly.
• Mix the paint: 2 parts paint, 1 part 2K Hardener then add 10% 2K Thinner to volume, this may vary depending on spray gun setup and air supply. Apply a cover coat of 2K paint, leave for 10-15 minutes, depending on conditions.
• We normally touch the masking tape and when the paint is like the back of a postage stamp, not sticky just a little tacky, it is ready for the next coat or coats.

A: Yes, we are. Our facotry is in Shaoguan, Guangdong, China. It takes one and half hour by car from Guangzhou airpoat to our factory.

A: According to the actual situaton, we can provied free samples.

Q3: Can you manufacturer the paint under my brand and my logo?

A: We could help to pack and deliver under your brand, but we would require some license from you and we have requirement for the order quantity..

A:Yes, we can, but we need the color sample from buyers. Or maybe you can send a picture for us for reference.

A:We could arrange free advertising materials such as mixing machine, balance/scale, spray gun, display racks, T-shirt, cap, CDs, posters, tinting maps,TDS, color reference cards, mixing rulers…etc.
