How to use?

1) Pull the unlocking handle

Move the Self Rescuer to the front abdomen along the Waist band first when using, with left hand holding the bottom and right hand uncovering the protective cover from outside to inside to expose the fore shaft belt. Pull the unlocking handle and strip off the sealing strip and throw it away.

2) Remove the upper canister

Grasp the lower canister with left hand and pull the upper canister forcefully with right hand and throw it away.

3) Wear the straps

Wear the straps on your neck and settle well the heat insulating pad and the gasbag.

4) Pick up the mouthpiece and wear well.

Pull out mouthpiece stuff and the oxygen candle starter pin connected with it and throw them away. Put the mouthpiece into the mouth between the teeth and lips. Bite the tooth pad tightly, and then close your mouth tightly.

5) Clip the nose clip well.

Pull apart the nose clip to clamp the nose and breathe with mouth.

6) Withdraw from the disaster area.

After finishing the above operation, withdraw from the disaster area. Don't be panic when you feel lack of oxygen on the way. Slow down your pace and take deep breath. Don’t walk quickly again before you get sufficient oxygen.
