In October 2019, Bitmain, a giant in the crypto mining hardware industry, released another bitcoin miner, the Antminer T17+. Established in 2013, Bitmain has transformed computing by building innovative technology in cryptocurrency, blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Bitmain has led the crypto mining industry into the production of integrated circuits for crypto mining. They also manufacture mining hardware under the Antminer flagship brand. The Bitmain Antminer T17+ was released alongside its counterpart, the Antminer S17+. The S17+ has a hash rate of 73 TH/s and works with a power efficiency of 40 J/TH + 10%; the T17+ computes at a hash rate of 64 TH/s and power efficiency 50 J/TH. The miner's hash rate is quite impressive as it shows the company's promise to produce miners that are at the forefront of mining innovation. The Antminer T17+ was regarded as the future of its rig design at the time of release.

Algorithm
The Antminer T17+'s algorithm is the Secure Hash Algorithm
(SHA-256), which has over 40 minable coins. But the most profitable
coins are Bitcoin(BTC), Bitcoin Cash(BCH), Bitcoin SV. It has a
power consumption of 3200W, which is a bit high.
Specifications
This model comes with four fans @ 12 V and 2.4 A. By using
dual-tube heat dissipation technology, the miner is designed so the
space between the air outlet and air inlet is reduced to 50%. The
miner's fan improves heat dispersion effectively, thereby reducing
fan noise. The Antminer T17+ also comes with a high temperature and
abnormal fan protection mechanism built to provide a safe and
stable working condition for the miner.
This miner also has a fan speed of 6000 rotations per minute (rpm),
which guarantees a working temperature of 0 — 45℃. The surrounding
humidity is about 10%~90%(non-condensing), and it weighs 10.2kg.
Temperature
With this miner, the operating temperature is about 5 - 45 °C
maximum, and operating humidity is 5 - 95 percent maximum. It has
four fans, which means you can't immerse it in water for liquid
cooling like the ASICminer Zeon Turbo. The fans are capable of
cooling the miner after a day's worth of work.
The Antminer T17+ uses the industry-leading Exposed Die package
solution and an optimized all-in-one design, making the model easy
to use and adaptable to mining farms of different sizes.
Noise Level
The Antminer T17+ has a noise level of 82dB. To better understand this, 60dB is equivalent to an average conversation between adults, 70 dB sounds like a busy restaurant, 80dB sounds like a vacuum cleaner/hairdryer. The Antminer T17+ is noisier than the average miner and can't be used in residential areas.
