Electric Heat Tracing Technical Solution for Chemical Plant is a package solution for the industrial processes to manufacture chemical product either in large scaled production or fine chemical production.
Electric Heat Tracing Technical Solution for Chemical Plant
guarantees the maintenance of the temperature in the pipes, tanks
and process equipment. That maintenance prevents any problem
derived from losing temperature in processes: obstructions and
breakages, increased viscosity in fluids, condensation of water
steam in gases and phase shifts...
The solution normally uses parallel type heating cables
(Self-regulating and/or Constant Power) and temperature control
adapted to each process. All commanded by direct temperature and
power control panels.
Here are five applications typically:
1. High Temperature Heat Tracing: for the use of temperature higher
than 500°C
2. Long-Line Heating: for the use of pipeline more than 300 meters.
3. Freeze Protection: The main purpose of a freeze-protection
system is to prevent fluids such as process water, drain water and
fire water lines from freezing in pipes.
4. Process Temperature Maintenance without Steam
Exposure: With process temperature-maintenance applications,
there is usually a need for viscosity control of certain fluids
such as fuel oils, acids and fertilizers at higher temperatures
beyond freeze-protection applications.
5. Process Temperature Maintenance with Steam Exposure: In
some freeze-protection and process temperature-maintenance
applications, the heat-tracing cable is exposed to higher
temperatures than the maintenance temperature when steam is used to
clean the pipes.
