Gabion basket, also known as gabion mesh, green grid, gabion retaining wall, Reynolds pad, reinforced gabion, gabion cage, etc., is a widely used material structure in recent years for traffic, water conservancy, municipal, gardens, soil and water conservation and other engineering projects.
It is made up of corrosion-resistant, high-strength, low-carbon galvanized steel wire or 5% to 10% thin alloy-coated steel wire (or homogeneous-coated polymer steel wire) that is twisted by machine into hexagonal mesh mesh. The length of the double-hinged parts should not be less than 5 cm, so as to not destroy the protecting coating of the steel wire. For more detail, please refer to industry standard YB/T4221-2010.
Gabion mesh can be assembled according to engineering design requirements, into boxes, filled with blocks and stones and other materials and connected into one, and used as embankment, roadbed protection and other engineering new technology.

River stone cage is also known as gabion mesh, green grid, gabion retaining wall, Reynolds pad, reinforced gabion, and gabion cage. It is a new material structure widely applied in numerous fields including traffic engineering, water conservancy projects, municipal projects, gardens, soil, and water conservation.
The gabion mesh is made of corrosion-resistant and high-strength, low-carbon galvanized steel wire or thin 5%-10% alloy coated steel wire (or equivalent homogeneously coated polymer steel wire). They are manually twisted into hexagonal meshes, and the length of each double-hinge part should not go below 5 cm in order to prevent potential damage to the protective coating of the steel wires. Once assembled into boxes according to the engineering design requirements, gabion mesh can be filled with blocks and stones as well as other materials, and connected into one, serving as a new technology used in embankment, roadbed protection, and other engineering projects.
This low carbon steel wire is designed for twist knitting with mesh ranging from a quarter to eight, wire diameter from 1.5mm to 5.0mm, and aperture of 60*80, 100*120, 120*150 or 160*180. It was originally produced in Anping, Hebei and can be used for multiple purposes such as coastal defense engineering, river protection, and garden landscape. The surface treatment process for this product consists of plastic-coating with PVC, and is also available in customizable sizes.
Stone cage net is mainly used to guide the river water. Rivers tend to flow along natural channels, and in cases of flooding, with its strong water current and high volume, the river may be diverted from the original channel and cause serious damage.
