Vane Pack Mist Eliminator Introduce

To prevent liquid re-entrainment, the serpentine path provided by the vanes adds obstacles to allow liquid to pool while preventing vapor flow through. 1. Working principle

The flat-plate mist eliminator uses the principle of water film separation to achieve gas-water separation. When the flue gas with droplets enters the narrow and tortuous channel formed by the herringbone plate, centrifugal force is generated due to the deflection of the streamline, and the droplets are separated. The droplets hit the plate and partially adhere to the wall surface of the plate. A water film is formed, which flows down slowly, and collects into larger droplets to fall down, thereby realizing the separation of gas and water. The working principle is shown in the figure.

 

2. Layout direction

①Vertical flow mist eliminator: The mist eliminator is placed horizontally, and the flue gas flows vertically upward through the mist eliminator. (applicable to absorption tower)

②Horizontal flow mist eliminator: The mist eliminator is placed vertically, and the flue gas flow passes through the mist eliminator in the horizontal direction. (for horizontal flue)

 

3. Layout structure

①The flat demister system consists of two layers of parallel demister blades and three layers of flushing water pipes. The first layer of mist eliminator removes coarse particle droplets, and the second layer of mist eliminator removes fine particle droplets.

②The flushing system consists of flushing pipes, flushing nozzles, flushing water pumps, flushing water automatic switching valves, pressure instruments, flushing water flow meters, and programmable controllers (purchase when purchasing specific items). The function of the demister flushing system is to regularly Wash away the liquid and solid deposits captured on the demister plate, keep the plate clean and moist, prevent the blade from scaling and block the channel, the flushing pipe is arranged in the upper and lower sides of the primary demister and the lower side of the secondary demister , The components are equipped with clips and bolts for easy installation.
