T- IHI / T- RH183 Original Ship Engine Turbocharger Second-Hand in
Marine Turbo Stock
T- RH183 Marine Turbocharger features:
T- RH183 Marine Turbocharger belongs to T- IHI / T- RH series exhaust gas turbocharger, that consists of mixed flow turbine and radial flow
compressor. This series of turbocharger can match to high-speed
diesel engine. Two types of journal bearing: semi-floating type and full-floating
type, in order to prevent the shaft to move. A seal plate and seal ring located in compressor side in
order to prevent the air and oil leaking. The turbocharging
efficiency is 60%-62%, and its compressor pressure ratio up to 3.6. Excellent thermal resistance, air and oil sealing performance and
stable bearing system ensure the T- IHI / T- RH Series marine
turbochargers' reliability and long service lifetime.T- RH series turbochargers are widely used in automotive, heavy truck, construction, marine and industrial engine.

Brief introduction of Marine turbocharger:
The marine turbocharger, also known as exhaust gas turbocharger, is
the main equipment in the diesel engine boosting system. It
consists of a single-stage exhaust gas turbine and a centrifugal
compressor. They are mounted on the same shaft to form the moving
part of the marine turbocharger/exhaust gas turbocharger - the
rotor. The function of the marine turbocharger/exhaust gas
turbocharger is to use the diesel exhaust energy to drive the
turbine to drive the compressor on the coaxial to increase the air
pressure into the cylinder, so that the diesel engine power is
greatly improved. The exhaust turbocharger approximately doubles
the power of the diesel engine, but its weight is only increased
10%.
When the diesel-exhaust turbocharger combination is in operation,
the marine turbocharger/exhaust gas turbocharger is prone to
failures such as turbine casing corrosion, bearing damage, blade
damage, gas seal damage, and supercharger vibration. The daily good
maintenance management can reduce these failures.
