Introduction of Tungsten Heavy Alloy 

 

Tungsten based heavy alloy is a kind of alloy based on tungsten (tungsten content is usually

79% ~ 97%), composed of a small amount of Ni, Fe, Cu, Co, Mo, Cr and other elements, also known as high-density tungsten alloy or heavy alloy. It is generally produced by powder metallurgy process, and the common materials are tungsten nickel iron alloy and tungsten nickel copper alloy.

2. Density: 15.2-19.0 g/cm3
3. Composition: W content: 85-97%, W-Ni-Fe, W-Ni-Cu
4. Surface: Vacuum annealed or un-annealed

5. Shape: plate, bar, customized parts

 

Tungsten based heavy alloy has the advantages of high density, high strength, low expansion coefficient, good high temperature oxidation resistance, good machining performance, wear resistance and strong ray absorption ability.
