1. TANK BARREL

Material

Mild Steel Q345B, 4mm nominal.

Shell Finish

Tank barrel outer surface cleaned out & painting. Painting colour according to the customer’s requirement.

Tank Profile

Double D.Maximum profile design that maximises volumetric capacity while achieving a low centre of gravity.

Hydrostatic test to 5 psi (35 KPa) on each compartment.

36000Litres plus 3~5%

Bulkhead

Q345B 4.5mm nominal bulkhead

All single heads dished and flanged.

End Plate and Bulkhead plate are allowed to be jointed plate by two plates.

Q345B 5mm dished surge head. With (1) 500mm centre man way (2) 100mm diameter top drain hole (3) 300mm diameter bottom drain hole (4) 50mm diameter at 3 & 9 O’clock position.

The baffle plate is allowed to be jointed plate by two plates.

Standard features of a full-length mainframe and diaphragm cross-members.

Extrusion in inverted ‘U’ section with full length sliding rail for anti-fall protection system.

Top of the rollover coaming to be at least 25mm above any fitting

Electric is welding for steel.

B. TANK FITTINGS AND PIPING

Utility holes

Compartment capacity decal will be put on outside of ROC.

Pressure Vacuum Vent

Roll-over type incorporates with utility hole — one per compartment.

Vapour Vent

Sequential pneumatic control air vent. One per compartment. Made in CHINA.

Steel connected to the curbside coaming rail by 3" hose. Hose clips as need.

Vapour Recovery Piping

4" internal pipe from LHS roll overcoming through the mid tank to the rear of the discharge area.

Vapour Recovery Adaptor

Vapour recovery adaptor with pneumatic vapour interlock valve and dust cap. Install at the rear of the discharge area. One per tanker. It is made in CHINA.

Vapour Dump Vent

Sequential pneumatic control air vent. One per compartment. Made in CHINA.

Vapour Dump Vent

Coming vent air operated. Installed at the rear of roll over coaming (LHS), vented to atmosphere. Dump vent close when the vapour adaptor is activated. One per tanker. It is made in CHINA.

Emergency Valve

4" aluminium, pneumatic controlled emergency valve at all compartments. Flange coupling to discharge pipe. Slash shield vortex breaker over each foot valve. Can be manually opened if necessary. It is made in CHINA.

Piping

4" discharge pipe to the right side of the trailer with the minimum number of bends. Piping to be hydrostatically tested. All tubing bends from the formed pipe, or with the minimum amount of prefabricated arches. The piping slope toward the front at an angle of 2° (minimum 1.5°)

Loading & Discharge Faucet

4" API adaptor complete with dust caps. Made in CHINA. On the right side at the centre of the tanker at 0° angle. The offset distance from centre to centre of API is 310mm. The API adaptor to be seal with the mechanical sealing system.

Accessories

Compartment number and capacity indicator for each compartment to be installed near discharge faucets.

Compartment capacity and number (sticker) to be declared on rollover coaming beside each compartment (both sides)

Control System

Pneumatic type control system. Chinese local brand pneumatic control block. Place in the control box on the right-hand side.

System includes:

Control box must have a Master Switch that provides air to all compartment bottom valves controls, Acts as an Emergency Cut-off Switch in addition to switches at front and rear.

1) Emergency valve control.

2) Emergency cut off with one cut off switch, mounted at the back of the trailer.

All air piping and brake interlock system air to flow through filter Synflex or equal tubing with high nut compression fittings.

Overfill Prevention

Five wire optic probe installed to each utility hole cover and one no, six pins, 3J slot socket to be installed near vapour recovery adaptor. Scrutiny needs to be set at 25mm above the top full ullage market in each compartment, made in CHINA.

Skid Plate

Heavy-duty 10mm high tensile steel skid plate bolts directly to the double web reinforced under frame at front completed with 3.5" JOST standard kingpin.

Ladder

Detachable, steel fabricated, intermediate steps don’t exceed 300mm, mounted at the front of the tank.

Clearance between ladder and tanker end minimum 100mm.

Anti-slip painting on tank top between roll over the coaming.

Handrail

Stainless steel, standard handrail fixed on the top of the tank (outside of the coaming) and can be used to rise.

Hose Carriers

Two nos, hose carrier (round tubes) to fit 3" x 4-meter hose close type complete with brackets to be installed at both sides.

Two nos, 3"x4m hose with 3" female cam lock coupling at one end.

Steel fabricated, to be position at the left-hand side.

Ground connector

One no, of the earthing strip to be installed at the rear of the tanker.

One no, of grounding bonding reel (copper/brass clamp).

Size for the 8kg extinguisher, 2Pcs.
