Injection molding temperature controllers or temperature control units, are commonly used in the plastic injection molding industry. Injection molding is a manufacturing process in which parts or products are produced by injecting various plastic materials into molds. Pelletized, raw plastic material is fed through a hopper into a heated barrel with a reciprocating screw. Molds can be of a single cavity or multiple cavities. Depending on the size of the cavities and the dimension of the mold, more than one temperature control unit like LianGui’ may be needed for precise temperature control.

The melted material is forced into the preheated mold where the material solidifies. Temperature control units are used to preheat the mold and then to keep the mold at the temperature set point by circulating coolant (water or oil) through the mold.

The coolant absorbs heat from the mold (which has absorbed heat from the hot plastic) and keeps the mold at proper temperature to solidify the plastic.

LianGui’s temperature control units are instrumental for improved parts, quality, and high cycle times.

 

 

 

The pump of water and oil mold temperature controller adopts a higher efficiency level. The MTC maintains the precise temperature level and it helps in the increment of the production rate of the mold parts. The injection mold temperature controller comprises pipes made up of stainless steel seamless tubes.

The mold temperature controller of an injection molding machine helps to control the temperature of the mold with the help of a heat transferring medium like water or oil in this model. Therefore, temperature control ranges within 180. The PID controller used for controlling the temperature with the deviating range of ±0.1℃ with higher operating efficiency and hence, it saves more energy with respect to the electrical billing.

So, the design of the MTC finalizes with a displaying unit of LCD that determines the actual and set temperatures for operating the controller accurately. Hence, the injection mold temperature controller specializes in the following protective functions as well:

Water manifolds and Teflon hose are not mandatory in buying the products. The heating wire and the main pipeline made up of stainless steel and hence, it is highly durable and it keeps safe from leakage and rust. Therefore, it operates in the process of the indirect cooling method of the injection molding machine.

TW series water type mold temperature controllers has standard type, high temperature type, double power heating mold temperature controller, mainly control the mold temperature to be kept in a constant temperature state. It uses water as heating media to realize heat exchange by direct cooling for standard temperature control from 120-180℃. Water type has its superiorities with high efficient heat transmission, less polution, water resource easy to be attained with low cost. It adopts dual P.I.D controller to make sure stable temperature which can be controlled precisely with accuracy up to ±0.2℃.
