The overview of Switching power supply

Switching power supply is a device which use modern power electronics technology to control time ratio of switching tube open and off and maintain a stable output voltage of power supply, switching power supply is generally composed of IC and MOSFET which is controlled through pulse width modulation (PWM) compared with linear power. Linear power cost is higher than switching power supply at a certain output power point, which is called cost reversal point. With the development and innovation of power electronics technology and switching power supply technology constantly innovating, this cost reversal point is increasingly moving to low output power end, which provides a broad development space for switching power supply.
