It is the most important basic legal document in German food hygiene management, and is the guideline and core of other special food hygiene laws and regulations. However, there have been modifications in recent years, mainly to match European standards. The regulations make general and basic regulations on all aspects of German food. All food on the German market and all food-related daily necessities must comply with its basic regulations.

1. Initial inspection of samples and materials

3. Plastic samples: test for transferable components and test for leaching out heavy metals

4. Metals: composition and leaching of heavy metals

• Tobacco is outside the scope of the new LFGB, interim regulations on tobacco will be introduced;

• Expanded prohibition of misleading claims on food-contact materials and commodities;

• No major changes to safety testing of food-contact materials and commodities.

ENEC (European Norms Electrical Certification) is a certification program of CENELEC (European Commission for Electrotechnical Standardization) for specific products that meet European standards (such as lighting equipment, components, and office & Generic European Standard for data equipment). European countries have their own national certification marks, while ENEC is a safety certification mark covering the whole of Europe.

As a valuable addition to the CE marking, the European Standard Electrical Certification (ENEC) scheme is widely recognized in the European Union. The European Standard Electrical Certification (ENEC) scheme, authorised by the European Electrical Products Certification Association, allows manufacturers and importers to clearly demonstrate compliance with European Standard (EN) related product safety requirements through testing by an independent third-party testing laboratory. ENEC certification also includes audits of production plants and annual sampling tests to ensure that products continue to comply with European standards.

The ENEC mark is unconditionally accepted and recognized by at least 20 European countries: Austria, UK, Norway, Belgium, Greece, Portugal, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Denmark, Ireland, Spain, Finland, Italy, Sweden, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands Wait.
