Treatment principle

SHR/OPT is a new technology of permanent hair removal which is having a sweeping success. The working theory is heating the dermis to a target temperature gradually, at that target tempature, it damages the hair follicles and prevents re-growth effectively, meanwhile avoiding injury to the surrounding tissue. A high repetition rate of single pulses are delivered deep into the dermis, achieving high average power and therapeutically effective heat build-up,whithout the risk of injury and no pain virtually.

The machine use the SHR technology. Compare with traditional IPL technology, SHR applies 650 to 950nm wavelength instead of 640 to 1200nm. Because from 950 to 1200nm it is useless to treatment, only brings pain. Also, when using SHR, the machine is passed over the tissue multiple times (in motion) using low energy but a high rate of repetition (Up to 10HZ, 10 times per second) instead of using the traditional method with single, high energy impulses.
