The influence is not obvious: aluminum, manganese, nickel and other elements. It can be seen that the carbide forming element has a particularly significant delayed effect on tempering softening. Although cobalt and silicon are not carbide forming elements, they have a strong delay effect on the formation and growth of cementite crystal nucleus, therefore, also have a delay effect on tempering softening.
