Determination of control range of alloy elements:
The control range of 1mg mg is flammable metal, which will be
burned during smelting operation. When determining the control
range of Mg, the error caused by burning loss should be considered,
but it should not be too wide to avoid out of control of alloy
properties. According to our experience and the level of batching,
smelting and testing, we control the fluctuation range of Mg within
0.04%.
T5 profile is 0.47% ~ 0.50%,
T6 profile is taken as 0.57% ~ 0.60%.
Control range of 2Si when the range of Mg is determined, the
control range of Si can be determined by mg / Si ratio.
Since the control Si is 0.09% ~ 0.13%, mg / Si should be controlled
between 1.18 ~ 1.32.
