TBM Cutter Rings Cutting Rings factory from china
TBM cutter rings are key section of TBM disc cutters. TBM cutter
rings should have perfect balance between hardness and toughness.
We manufacture heavy-duty cutter rings and TCI cutter rings.
Heavy-duty cutter rings are forged alloy tool steel with specially
heat-treated to HRC54-58 with ideal balance between hardness and
toughness, suit soil to hard rock. TCI cutter rings are inserted
with tungsten carbide tips and coated wear resistance material, so
they have high wear resistance and suit very abrasive ground.
Cutter rings are manufactured in ideal profile and tip width
according to ground conditions in order to get high excavating
efficiency.
Cutter rings can be interchanged completely with Herrenknecht,
Palmieri, Robbins, Mitsubishi and Wirth cutter rings.

Our cutter rings are produced from standard steel, heavy duty steel
and H13 tool steel with standard profile or hard faced profile in
different hardness to accommodate various geological conditions
such as sandstone, conglomerates, limestone, marble, quartzite,
basalt, diorite and granite.
They are apply to the sand limestone, dolomite, kimestone,
condensate, such as granite from soft rock to hard rock, all rocks.
And they are suitable for Herrenknecht, Mitsubishi, Wirth, Komatsu,
Robbins tunnel boring machines, we also can produce according to
customers drawings or samples
It could be devided into single disc cutter , double disc cutter ,
multiple disc cutter . Its outer cutter rings could be devided into
standard cutter ring , wide disc cutter ring , heavy duty cutter
ring , surface overlaying welding cutter ring , cutter ring with
carbide button etc .
Its cutter rings material could be choosed according to tunnel
working condition
TBM cutter rings must be highly wear resistant and robust because
they serve as the key excavation component.
Standard cutter rings are forged with alloy tool steel and
heat-treated to HRC56-58 with an ideal balance between hardness and
toughness, making them suitable for soft ground to mixed ground.
Heavy duty cutter rings are forged with alloy tool steel and
particularly heat-treated to HRC57-59 with an ideal balance between
hardness and toughness to avoid curling and fracturing, so they are
suitable for hard rock and abrasive rock.
TCI cutter rings are inserted with tungsten carbide tips and
suitable for abrasive but not hard ground. The undulating nature of
the TCI would help the cutter to rotate in the low strength but
abrasive rock, and avoid flat spotting.
The cutter rings are manufactured with ideal profile and tip width,
usually 13mm to 25mm depending on ground conditions, in order to
achieve high excavating efficiency and long lifetime.
Our TBM cutter rings can be interchanged completely with
Herrenknecht, Palmieri, Robbins, and Wirth cutter rings.
