The ends of J1939 female and male connectors are right angle
90-degree, which can help save some space when connecting and
installing telematics devices.
The J1939 female socket is with a locking ring. Rotating the locking ring after plugging assures that the connector won’t come unplugged accidentally.
The Deutsch 9 Pin female connector of this cable is Type 2, so its Pin F is with smalller diameter as Pin C and Pin J. Type 2 J1939 female connectors can be inserted into Type 1 or Type 2 J1939 male receptacles.
