Description

The cross is a pipe connector, which is used at the branch pipe of the main pipe. The cross tee can be divided into equal diameter and reducing diameter.The nozzle ends of the equal diameter cross tee are the same size; the main nozzle size of the reducing cross tee is the same, and the nozzle size of the branch pipe is smaller than that of the main pipe.

The manufacturing process of the cross mainly includes hydraulic bulging and hot pressing.The hydraulic bulging of the cross tee is to use a special hydraulic press to inject liquid into the tube blank with the same diameter as the cross tee.

The two horizontal side cylinders of the hydraulic press move synchronously to extrude the tube blank, the volume of the tube blank becomes smaller, the liquid pressure in the tube blank increases.The metal material flows along the inner cavity of the die under the double action of the liquid pressure in the side cylinder and the tube blank and expands the branch pipe.

Characteristic

The tube blank is heated, put into the forming die, and put into the die of the stretching branch pipe; under the effect of pressure. The tube blank is compressed radially, in the process of radial compression, the metal flows to the direction of the branch pipe and forms the branch pipe under the stretch of the die.

The hydraulic bulging process of the cross can be formed in one time with high production efficiency; because the hydraulic bulging process of the seamless cross requires large tonnage of equipment.It is mainly used for the manufacture of the standard wall thickness cross less than dn400.

The tonnage of the equipment needed for the hot pressing process of the cross is reduced. Hot pressed cross has wide adaptability to materials, which is suitable for low-carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel; especially for large-diameter and thick pipe wall cross, this forming process is usually adopted.

14,  Butt welding cross is a pipe fitting made of steel by hot pressing or forging. Its connection form is directly butt welding the cross and steel pipe.

15,  The main manufacturing standards of butt welding cross are generally GB / T12459, GB / T13401, ASME B16.9, SH3408, SH3409, HG / T21635, Hg / T21631, SY / T0510.
