The 2711P-B6C1D is a member of PanelView Plus 600 series of operator terminals that allows remote I/O communications because the module runs the Windows CE 6.0 operating system and it uses FactoryTalk View ME Station software, version 6.0 or later, for navigation. The 2711P-B6C1D has a 5.7-inch color display area and the operator can either use the keypad or the touchscreen input.
In addition, the 2711P-B6C1D can be activated on input power of 24V DC which enables this module to run continuously even during power interruptions by using storage batteries as its main power source. Moreover, USB, Ethernet, and RS-232 ports are also embedded in this PanelView module for easy communication, printing, and data storage. It has 256 MB DDR2 (chip onboard)/ 4264 MiB/s peak RAM for its memory. The 2711P-B6C1D has the ability to upload or download files from a computer or over the network or by using its 512 MB nonvolatile memory as its internal storage. Thus, this module can support a keyboard and a mouse. It requires an approximately 167 mm x 264 mm or 6.57 in x 10.39 in for its panel cutout dimensions and a panel depth of approximately 116 mm or 4.57 in.
