Divided from the displacement direction of the conveying material, screw conveyors are divided into two types: horizontal screw conveyor and vertical screw conveyor. The screw conveyors are mainly used for horizontal conveying and vertical lifting of various powder, granular and small pieces of loose materials.

This machine is not suitable for conveying easily deteriorated, highly viscous, easy agglomerated or high temperature, easy crush, and highly corrosive.

However, the U-shaped screw conveyor is not suitable for long-distance transportation.The manufacturing cost is larger than that of the belt conveyor, and it is easy for the fragile materials to be destructed.
