1. Brief Introduction of pit type tempering furnace:
Heat treatment equipment provides annealing, tempering, quenching, carburizing, nitriding, heating to the workpieces.
Heat treatment furnace is common name of various kinds of industrial furnace which provide metal heating treatment to all kinds of metal workpieces. It has lower temperature compared with heating furnace. Heat treatment furnace can be adopted with all models of heating furnaces but asks more stringent temperature control and furnace atmosphere.

Ceramic fiber module has been main insulation materials for the well type electric resistance furnace of my company, the appearance can be designed into round pit type resistance furnace, or polygon well type resistance furnace according to customers' requirements . In order to save the workpiece lifting space ,pit type resistance furnace is often installed underground, only the furnace door system is placed on the ground.Of which pit types furnace that needs to add the protective atmosphere and vacuum furnace are usually placed underground, its security can be guaranteed perfectly .

2. Structure of Pit Type Tempering Furnace:
Pit type furnace is mainly composed of furnace shell, lining, heating device and temperature control and other major parts, furnace body is cylindrical deep well, workpiece is installed vertically furnace inside for heating, Pit type furnace is usually placed under the ground plane in the workshop, also is placed above the ground plane, or ground level fluctuation in each half.
Pit type furnace can also be used for mechanical parts for tempering ,annealing, normalizing, carburizing and carbonitriding heat treatment, etc, electricity or gas can be used for heating, with electricity as heat source, is called the pit type resistance furnace,can form a complete set of heat treatment production line with pit type tempering furnace, quenching tank, washing machine and other equipment.

3. Application of pit type tempering furnace:

This pit type tempering furnace is mainly used for tempering of carbon steel materials mechanical parts after quenching.

1) Rational structure, uniform furnace temperature, small upper & lower temperature difference in working zone, especially applicable for heating and heat treatment for long axial work-piece.
2) Adopt energy-saving furnace lining, fast temperature rise, low empty furnace consumption, save more than 20% of energy compare with old product.
3) The control system can be equipped with normal control instrument or instrument with micro-processor program control according to actual need.
4) When needed during process, protective atmosphere can be fed into the furnace to realize little-oxidizing heating.
5) Each product is installed with safety interlock and over-temperature device to provide reliable and safe operation and use.
