PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

FH-20D is a kind of plug with two prongs. This AC power cord plug has passed PSE JET certification. And the current and voltage is rated up to 7A 120V. Built to JIS C 8303 standards, it is designed for 2 conductor Japanese power supply cord applications. All of our Japan AC power cords are complied with PSE appendix 4 or attachment plugs, and they are fully made with ergonomic design and RoHS compliant.

PACKAGING INFORMATION

Internal Packaging: Regularly, the power cord are tied up in a bundle of ten pieces or five pieces, which depends on the length of cables. Besides, we can also provide PP bags and vacuum package as per request.

External Packaging: Usually, we use high quality export carton to package the power cord.

IDENTIFICATION METHOD

1. Look at the Quality Certification of Home Appliances

If the quality of household appliances is qualified, then the quality of the power cord of household appliances should also be tested, there will not be too much problem.

2. Check the Wire Section

The surface of the copper or aluminum core of the qualified product should have metallic luster. If the surface of copper is blackened or the surface of aluminum is whitened, it indicates that the wire has been oxidized and it is unqualified product.

3.Examine the Appearance of the Power Cord

The insulating sheathing of qualified product is soft, with tenacity and flexibility. The appearance of the product should be tight, smooth and in pure glossiness. On the surface of the wire, it must have clear mark which is not easy to wipe off. If the power cord is not produced with standard insulating material, the sheathing will became a little transparent, crispy and not tough.

The Mechanical Strength Test of Power Cord

Power cord flexing test (fix the plug and swing the power line):

The first type: the power cord which bends frequently when works normally should be carried with 2KG, and tested by swinging 90 degree vertically 20 thousand times (1minute 60 times). The power cord and plug are supposed to be normal.

The second type: for the power cords not bent frequently, they should be carried with 2KG and tested by swinging 180 degree 200 times without exception (1minute 6 times).

Q1: What are the materials of your products?

A1: In terms of power cords, we mainly use copper for conductors (cores) and PVC or rubber for both sheath and insulation parts. As for electric plugs, the pins are normally made of copper (usually two to three pins with earth or grounding) which can be wired based on customers’ requirement.

Q2: Can you produce according to the samples?

A2: Yes, we can produce according to your samples or technical drawings. We can build the molds and fixtures. But please confirm with us whether it has safety certificates or not.
