1.Mechanical vapour recompression (MVR) and evaporation
This device has won national new and high-tech product award and also passed the accreditation for being the first set of major equipment in the province and the city.
Working pinciples: Compress secondary steam by using steam centrifugal compress or other steam com pression device to make sure its physical properties meet with the requirements for heating steam; evaporation that uses it as heating steam only requires fresh steam supply when the machine is started. After entering normal operation, there is no need to supply new steam and no (or very little) secondary steam needs condensation. Therefore MVR evaporation substantially cuts down steam demand but will consume more power.

1.The estimated investment cost for a 10-ton MVR plate type evaporator Is approximately 4 million Yuan.
2.The annual operation cost of a 10-ton evaporator is 3,160,800 million Yuan higher than that of a 10-ton MVR plate type evaporator.
3.Therefore, the total investment of a 10-ton MVR plate type evaporator, deducting the total difference between a multi-effect evaporator, shall be recovered within 15 months, i.e. 1 year and 3 months (4 million/3.1608 million Yuan*12 months)
Note: As the steam and power prices vary from place to place, different technologies also result in varied investment return, actual cost shall be subject to the final design.
