Induction melting is an effective and energy-saving method for elevating metal or ore temperature to the degree of melting and maintaining the temperature to achieve smelting, alloying, mixing, and molding processes. The induction furnace consists of a conductive coil surrounding a container or chamber that contains metal material. A current regularly going through the coil induces eddy currents in the metal, thus the circulating currents generate extreme temperatures to melt metals and for making mixtures of exact compositions.

Melting or casting is often the primary step to product making. Induction melting is a rapid and efficient way to do that. By changing the shape of the induction coil, different induction furnaces could hold charges of various sizes, from small mugs to dozens of tons of melted metal. Moreover, by adjusting the power and frequency, our company can treat a variety of metals such as iron, steel, and stainless steel alloys, copper and copper-based alloys, aluminum, and silicon. Features:


VS Resistance Heated Furnace:

It has a high heat efficiency, therefore it melts quickly. Additionally, due to its small size, it saves up to 30% in energy consumption. On the downside, the resistance or silicon carbide stock is highly prone to damage.

 

VS Coal, Gas, and Diesel Furnace:

These furnaces are beneficial as they can facilitate the adjustment of solution composition and temperature, reduce the rejection rate by up to 2/3, and improve the mechanical strength of the casting. Furthermore, it reduces environmental pollution and the noise is much lower than that of other equipment. Another advantage is that the labor intensity of workers and the working conditions have been improved. However, Coal and gas furnaces use cast-iron crucibles can be harmful to aluminum alloy by increasing impurity.

 

VS SCR or Frequency Melting Furnace:

It has a high heat efficiency, melts quickly, and due to its small size, it saves up to 20% in energy consumption. The electromagnetic stirring effect is slight, so the service life of the crucible is extended. Moreover, by adjusting the frequency, it can regulate the power and reduce material element burning as well as achieve better energy saving. Furthermore, it is suitable for melting stainless steel, copper, silicon, and aluminum, thus reducing the cost of the casting.

  • Resistance melting furnace: 70%
  • Frequency melting furnace: 70%
  • Diesel melting furnace: 60%
  • SCR melting furnace: 80%
