Process of the plant
Raw salt is sent to a feed hopper at appropriate capacity and then
transferred to a conveyor band.
A magnet is used to remove trash metals from this conveyor.
Raw salt is washed in a special washing system.
Crude salt is ground in a wet grinding system with a saturated
brine.
Salt slurry is sent to a tank and pumped to a washing tank with one
of centrifugal, high-pressure pump, centrifugal pump, axial flow
pumps or gear pump.
Slurry is removed from slurry in washing tank.
Saltwater overflowing from washing tank is recycled.
Salt slurry is sent to hydrocyclone to thicken it.
Salt is removed from water in large scale by centrifugation. Iodine
dosing is made.
In the fluidized bed dryer, salt is completely dried.
Drying milling is done to thin clumping salts.
Salts are passed through a screening machine to be classified.
Then the tablet salt will be carried out, fine grade salt is
packed in different packages.
Salt Washing
We has designed a unique washing system that is based in salt and
brine countercurrent system in a custom designed screw. The washing
process allows to identify soluble and insoluble impurities in raw
salt using an advanced countercurrent brine system.
The washing and purification system is based in a mechanical
principle of pure brine washing to increase purity of the salt
crystals.
Salt centrifuge
After the Washing process the salt goes into a centrifuge system
with the latest centrifuge technology in order to further wash and
purify the crystals while reducing humidity of the product in the
process.
Salt centrifuges allow for precise liquid-solid separation process.
A continuous separation process engineered to combine high
availability with minimum maintenance.
Salt drying
we have developed our own Fluid Bed dryer technology, designed to
provide continuous drying solutions for all types of salts (sea
salt, rock salt, vacuum and/or lake salts). Manufactured in the
best materials for resistance and avoiding corrosion.
Our drying system allows to dry and cool Salt using a combination
of airspeed and mechanical motions to treat each particle
efficiently and with minimum dust formation. By shacking the
product up and down we achieve a uniform drying result with shorter
time and lower temperature.
Crushing technology
We has also engineered a crushing process to control the size of
the Salt grain. With our horizontal roller crushers, the product
goes in a vertical flow and the machine allows to control de
crystal size. Our crushing and grinding machines are produced with
high quality stainless steel and allow the operator to adjust the
size of the crystal that will go out of the process.
Iodine& additives
we do offer a machinery range to add additives in Salt. It can be
either Iodine, Fluor or anti-caking. The solution is a linear
system that pulverizes the additive in the production a uniform way
in order to obtain the Iodized Salt without any problem. Our
process guarantees a perfect distribution of additives in the Salt
crystals and meets the highest food and grocery standards required
for food-grade distribution.
We also support through our equipment supply the global and
national iodine programs, working with key public, private,
scientific and civic stakeholders. We focus on universal salt
iodization as the most cost-effective and sustainable solution for
prevention of iodine deficiency disorders.
Main equipment- Pusher centrifuge Introduction
HP Series automatic salt production plant is a kind of perforated
basket centrifuge, both continuous and effective. The mixture to be
separated is fed through the feeding pipe and the distributor
continuously and evenly into the first stage basket. Most of the
mother-liquor in the feed, acted on by centrifugal force, departs
through the sieves into the liquor-collecting casing where it will
be discharged out of the machine. The first stage basket rotates
and reciprocate, pushing the formed product cake into the second
stage basket .The cake can have sufficient retardation in the
centrifuge with being acted on by more centrifugal force, and
therefore, the desired humidity of the cake can be guaranteed.
Afterwards, the cake is continuously discharged out of the basket.
In case of high purity for the solid product, the effective washing
can be carried out in the centrifuge. If necessary, the washing
agent and the mother-liquor can be discharged separately.
