High tolerance Customization Mould Product Used in automatic electrical couplings and hand plugs in the rail sector
Our mould parts are widely used in the signal and power transmission in rail-bound vehicles. The electric couplings are generally supplied with automatic and semi-automatic centre buffer couplings. These allow the coupling and decoupling of two or more tractor units to a train without additional manpower.
Through the development of standard types and with the aid of a modular system, era-contact is able to put together customer-specific solutions quickly, flexibly and cost-efficiently.
Four models in different sizes are connected via standardized interfaces with the mechanical coupling and the vehicle.
The couplings correspond to the usual railway standards in terms of mechanical, electrical, safety, environmental and fire protection requirements.
