SUP10-CSP Blue Steel Strips Surface finish
The surface finish of cold rolled narrow steel strip shall be
bright as produced by rolling and annealing in a controlled
atmosphere.
The surface finishes of quenched and tempered cold rolled strip are
as follows:
1 grey/blue oxide finish:unpolished;
2 brigth tempered:unpolished
3 polished: obtained by fine grinding, abrasive brushing or other
processes;
4 polished and coloured:blue or yellow colour obtained by oxidization by heat treatment.
SUP10-CSP Blue Steel Strips Delivery condition
Cold rolled narrow steel strip covered by JIS G4802 shall be
supplied in one of the following delivery conditions:
NOTE The delivery condition-annealed to achieve spheroidized
carbides(+AC)-may be agreed. In such cases, limits on
spheroidization and mechanical properties may also be agreed at the
time of enquiry and order.
SUP10-CSP Blue Steel Strips Mandatory information
The following information shall be supplied by the purchaser at the
time of enquiry and order to enable the supplier to comply with the

SUP10-CSP Blue Steel Strips Decarburization
For silicon alloyed steels, decarburization shall not exceed 3% of
the material thickness per side, for non silicon alloyed steels,
decarburization shall not exceed 2% of the material thickness per
side when measure data distance of 5mm from the stripe edge
High carbon steel is an ideal material for custom flat springs,
custom clips, and custom sheet metal stampings. High Carbon Steel
Strips combines ease of fabrication with good strength and surface
finish, is valued for its strength properties and operates at
significantly higher levels than the mild steel grades. High carbon
steel strip can be finished to meet the needs of a wide range of
products. Where tensile strength and hardness are required, High
Carbon steels are the material of choice. High Carbon Steel Strips
Grades : C60, C65, C70, C75, C85, HC-14, En 42 J, C-98, C-100,
C-124, HC21 etc. We offer spring steel strip in various shapes and
sizes according to your final uses. These have excellent hardens
property and high yield strength. Clients can avail these at
competitive prices.
high carbon steel blue tempered spring steel strip is harder, less
bendable, and has a higher degree of spring back. Finished products
made from this material have better edge retention, which
correlates to the material's other properties. blue spring steel
strip is used widely in the manufacture of springs, prominently in
automotive and industrial suspension applications. It is a high
carbon steel with a very high yield strength. This material allows
objects made of spring steel to return to their original shape
despite significant deflection or twisting.
SUP10-CSP steel is an alloy steel formulated for primary forming
into wrought products. SUP10-CSP is the EN numeric designation for
this material. 51CrV4 is the EN chemical designation. It has a
moderately low melting temperature and a fairly high embodied
energy among EN wrought alloy steels.
The steel, unlike other carbon and alloy grades, is characterized
by high hardness, low vulnerability to tempering, resistance for
variable and heavy loads, and the ability to operate at elevated
temperatures up to 300 ℃. Surface-hardened, retains excellent
strength properties of the core while maintaining sufficient
surface hardness.58CrV4 / 1.8161 and 59CrV4 / 1.2242 are related
grades with the same range of alloying additives. It is
distinguished by the higher carbon content, which makes it possible
to achieve even higher hardness after heat treatment.51CrV4 /
50CrV4 / 58CrV4 / 59CrV4 grades are supplied as hot-rolled bars,
drawn bars, wires, spring stripes, forgings are used for the
production of heavy-duty springs, axles, crankshafts, connecting
rods, compression springs, valve springs, springs, shock absorbers
or spring washers. It is mainly supplied in an annealed, softened,
heat-treated and raw conditions. Steel does not exhibit corrosion
resistance, so products should be protected with greases or
coatings.
