The SMC KQG2 series of stainless steel one-touch pneumatic fittings provides engineers with reliable performance and superior protection against corrosion, chemical and high temperatures. This series offers tremendous versatility, since it can fit with a wide range of compressed air, water and steam systems. It has an operating pressure range of (-100kPa to 1MPa) and temperature conditions(-5°C to +150°C). Furthermore, SMC KQG2 series is constructed from SUS316 stainless steel, which is of a higher grade than the SUS304 stainless steel.
The higher grade material offers better pitting and corrosion resistance abilities, especially in chloride-dominated environments. With its compact design, these fittings can be used with tubing diameters ranging from 3.2mm to 16mm.
The KQGL06-02S is a highly compact and light product.
It is approximately 30% shorter and 62% lighter than the KQGL06-01S.
The product is constructed with stainless steel 316 for its metal components and special FKM for its seal parts.
With a wide range of available tubing materials, including FEP, PFA, nylon, soft nylon, polyurethane and polyolefin, it is suitable for use in an assortment of temperatures, ranging from -5 to 150°C.
No grease is needed for this product, so it can also be used with steam.
