Application:
Apply to continuous uniform boosting or step by step boosting way,
step by step toward a sample breakdown, ac/dc voltage until the
breakdown voltage measurement, calculation of the sample breakdown
strength.
Definitions:
Breakdown Voltage: Sample under a certain voltage is punctured, at
this time of voltage named breakdown voltage, expressed as a kV.
Voltage Resistance Value: Quickly to keep the voltage to the
specified value, sample time is not breakdown, according to the
voltage value of withstanding voltage value of the sample,
expressed as a kV.
Breakdown Strength: The ratio of the sample breakdown voltage and
its thickness named breakdown strength, expressed a KV/mm.
