Brief introduction

MPO (Multi-fiber Push On) is collectively referred to as MT series connectors. The ferrules of the MT series use two guide holes with a diameter of 0.7mm on the left and right sides of the ferrule end face for precise connection with the guide pin (also called PIN pin) , MPO can have 2~12 core designs, up to 24 cores, and 12 core connectors are currently the most used. The compact design of MPO makes it have a large number of cores and small size. It is widely used in the interconnection applications of FTTX, 40/100G SFP, SFP+ and other transceiver equipment in the environment where high-density integrated optical fiber lines are required during the wiring process. Our company can provide a variety of transfer and non-transfer MPO jumpers. There are many types of MPO transfers, including ribbon and bundle. Through the splitter (round or square), it can be transferred out of 2~24 core 0.9 or 2.0 Optical cable branch, the type of connector is specified by the customer, and the length and other requirements are left to the customer's choice. PS: The difference between fiber type multimode OM3 and OM4
1. OM4 is developed for VSCEL laser transmission, and supports 10G/S connection transmission distance up to 500M (OM3 is 300M).
2. The effective bandwidth of OM4 mode is more than one more than OM3
3. OM4 jumper is 4700MHz.km, OM3 is only 2000MHz.km.

 

 

How to choose PVC, LSZH and OFNP correctly?
