Fiber Optic Splice Protection Sleeve, also called Fiber Optic Heat Shrink Tube.
It is designed for enhancing protection or supporting positioning of optical fiber
splicing.

Components of fiber optic protection sleeve
Fiber Optic Splice Protection Sleeve consists of heat shrink tube, hot melt tube
and steel rod or ceramic rod. The hot shrink tube is usually made of PE or EVA,
and the melt tube is EVA. As for the steel rod, which is made of stainless steel
304 or 201.

Classification of fiber optic splice sleeve
According to the function, the fiber optic splice sleeve is divided into single and
Mass types. The single one is for single fiber, while the other one is for ribbon
Fiber. Due to diverse reinforcement of two types, the single-fiber sleeve adopts
Stainless steel rod, and the mass-fiber sleeve adopts ceramics rod.Mass-fiber
Sleeve contains 4-core,6-core, 8-core, 12-core etc.
