FA-FTFCS01 fiber cleaver is a high precision cutting tool of single fiber.It is suitable for for 250μm fiber and also 900μm fiber. No special skill is requested.

 

There are three types of fiber used in building fiber cabling system: 62.5/125um multimode fiber, 50/125um multimode fiber, and single-mode fiber. With the development of SYSTIMAX SCS, a new type of 50/125um optimized fiber for low-cost 850nm laser applications is used in the global cabling system, and it also be added into the standards.

The fibers that meet the basic requirements must meet the minimum performance level requirements, broadly speaking, must meet the performance requirements of bandwidth and attenuation. These application standards also define the minimum performance standards for their transmitters and receivers, and provide solid specifications for the worst case combinations.

Multimode fiber is a multipath transmission medium. Its bandwidth depends on which path (or mode) the signal is transmitted. The initial path is determined by the enabling conditions of the transmitter. The overflow bandwidth has less capacity for the minimum bandwidth performance of the laser transmitter (usually used for more than 155Mb/s), because the conditions of these transmitters are quite different and usually have no overflow condition. RML bandwidth suffers the same problem. The results of the study on RML experiments are only applicable to 62.5um optical fibers, only works when they are used together with the transmitters that meet the specific enabling conditions.

The reason why people use multimode solutions instead of single mode is that the cost of multimode solutions is low, not the price of optical fiber is low. In fact, the cost of multi-mode 850nm electronic instruments is much lower. This is why people choose optimized multimode fiber to transmit at 850nm wavelength.
