1080P Video Forward Aux Audio RS485 Backward RS485 Data HD-SDI to Fiber Optic Converter

1.1 Overview

The LNK-SDI-4V1A2D1E-T/R is a high performance, and reliable, 4-channel HD-SDI video optical transceiver, which perform real-time, loss-free and high-quality HD-SDI transmission(audio embedded) and one unidirectional (default)/bi-directional RS485 data over an optical line. Besides, LNK-SDI-4V1A2D1E-T/R provides optional audio/contact closure/RS422/RS232 data and 10/100M Ethernet transmission, which can be widely used in TV live broadcast, high-definition video conference, high-definition video monitoring, intelligent transportation system and public security system.

The LNK-SDI-4V1A2D1E-T/R includes desktop equipment and rack mounting chassis, the desktop equipment includes a transmitter named LNK-SDI-4V1A2D1E-T and a receiver named LNK-SDI-4V1A2D1E-R; The rack mounting chassis is used as the centralized HD-SDI receiver, adopts 19 inch width, 4U height.

 

1.2 Feature

Comply with SMPTE-292M HD-SDI and SMPTE-259M SD-SDI standard, supports 1.485Gb/s and 270Mb/s

n LNK-SDI-4V1A2D1E-T: four HD/SD-SDI input (BNC)

n LNK-SDI-4V1A2D1E-R: four HD/SD-SDI output (BNC)

n Each SDI channel includes 2-channel audio embedded

n One bi-directional RS485 channel, half duplex, up to 115.2Kb/s baud rate

n One auxiliary channel, which can be 2-channel bi-directional audio, or 2-channel unidirectional audio, or 4-channel unidirectional audio, or 2-channel contact closure input/output, or 1-channel bi-directional RS422 , or 2-channel bi-directional RS232 channel

n Supports 1080P@30,25,24, 29.97, 23.98,1080I@60,50,59.94,720P@60,50,30,25,24, 9.94, 29.97, 23.98 and 625i, 525i format, when input is 1080P@29.97, 23.98, 1080I@59.94, 720P@59.94, 29.97, 23.98, the output is 1080P@30, 24, 1080I@60, 720P@60,30, 24 respectively

n With integrated cable equalizer

n Embedded ESD and surge protection circuit to prevent damage from static and thunder

n With NOP (No optical signal) alarm indications, output status indicator and input lock indicator

n With APC circuit to perform stable optical power
