Quick Hard Rock Drilling Tools , Dth Hammer Drilling No Pollution
Hard Rock Drilling Tools Introduction
Down-the-hole (DTH) hammer bits are used with Down-the-hole hammers
for drilling holes through a wide range of rocks types. In
conjunction with DTH hammers, drill hammer bits are designed with a
spline drive for rotating the bit in the ground.
Roschen RH510 is a down-the-hole (DTH) hammer engineered for high
penetration rates and maximum productivity. This hammer for high
performance is the first choice for drilling hard and abrasive
rocks. It features a patented shank design for optimized energy
efficiency, and no foot valve. Models with heavy-duty or reversible
casings are available to ensure maximal life in high speed drilling
applications in abrasive rock formations.
This is achieved through a proprietary interface between the piston and bit. This optimizes impact energy transmission to boost penetration rates. The result will deliver excellent economy through high productivity. It is designed for operating pressures up to 24 bar (350 psi /g) .
Hard Rock Drilling Tools Advantages
1. No pollution, the reverse-circulation DTH hammer can quickly
pick up samples on the drill bit surface at the moment of rock
fragmentation. The sample does not need to pass through the hammer
length, thus avoiding sample contamination and loss.
2. High productivity. In broken and fractured rock, the penetration
speed is superior to the ordinary hammer.
3. Dry samples can be collected even in water condition, because
drilling cuttings are collected as soon as they produced on the
drill bit surface.
4. High sample recovery. Samples are collected from the drill bit
surface, so samples loss can be avoided in broken and fractured
rock formations. Since the bit diameter is almost equal to the
external diameter of the wear sleeve, the sample collection
recovery rate can reach 98%.
