Maintenance of Turbocharger
1. Do not drive immediately after starting.
Don't start the engine immediately after it is started. Allow the
vehicle to idle for a few minutes to increase the temperature of
the engine oil, enhance the fluidity of the engine oil, and allow
the components in the turbocharger to be fully lubried.
2. Stop the car and do not stall immediately.
Don't be too eager to shut down the vehicle after long-tem
operation. During the operation of the engine, some oilis supplied
to the turbocharger for lubriion and cooling. When the running
engine stops suddenly, the oil pump will stop working. The heat
inside the turbocharger will not be carried away by the oil. The
high temperature will boil the oil that has stopped flowing into
carbon deposit. Excessive carbon deposit willblock the oil inlet,
resulting in oil shortage and insuficient lubriion of the bearing,
and carbon deposit will also accelerate the wear of the bearing, so
idling for a few minutes before flameout can effectively solve the
wear of the turbocharger under such conditions.
