Product Description

TMPDE, Trimethylolpropane Diallyl Ether is a mixture of three allyl ethers, named trimethylolpropane diallyl ether in Chinese, including monoether, diether and triether. It is this unique composition that makes TMPDE an excellent air drying agent, which is widely used in unsaturated polyester resin, putty resin, alkyd resin, polyurethane resin, epoxy resin, water-soluble resin and so on.

Product Applications

TMPDE application in resin synthesis:

TMPDE’s using quantity in special resin synthesis is increasing. These application including:

1. unsaturated polyester(UPR)(PVC resin, epoxy vinyl resin, putty resin, insulation resin ).
2. UV curing resin(UV unsaturated polyester, polyester, UV polyurethane resin.
3. Water based resin(water based polyurethane resin, water based alkyd resin, water based acrylic resin).

4. Double -solidifying/ multiple-solidifying water based alkyd resin, ion exchange resin, polyurethane plastic resin(polyurethane foam, polyurethane rubber), polyurethane acrylate prepolymer thickener, powder coating resin (adhesive).

Compare with other drying method and drying agent(organotin, amines and DCPD),TMPDE can also supply better quality product in solid content, transparency, stability, better compatibility, quicker reaction speed, better film forming effect(spreading,film thickness, fullness, gloss), better mechanical strength, better corrosion resistance and anti yellowing.
