Insulated Magnetic Level Gauges Self-Monitoring RF Point Level Controller
●Working Principle
Based on the principle of
conductivity, the probe and the tank wall can serve as the two
poles,the air and the insulated element becomes the medium in this
situation. When the level of material rise to the probe, the medium
air will be substituted by material, so the dielectric constant
would be changed. As the dielectric constant of material is larger
than that of air (=1), which will change the conductivity and
impedance at the main time, the circuit board of L3522C will detect
the change and enlarge it, by compare with the reference point, the
circuit will generate a relay output accordingly.
The set of reference point is
important for the unit generate a correct output.
Based the technical of RF, a radio
frequency will be sent to the working
element and the guard element, which will cut off the current
generated by
the adhered material on the element.
By this way, the probe can measure
the level of material without the influence of adhered material.
●Description
L3522C is designed and produced
based on the technology of Princo’s point level controller.
The technique of adhering proof
circuit can ensure the accurate measuring of actual level of
material. With the technique of surface sealing, the L3522C can
work more reliable. The function of “Self-monitoring” can let user
know the working status of the circuit easily. The improved
sensitivity enables it to measure the level of process material
with lower dielectric.
The standard probe of L3522C is
L863C, of which the diameter is10mm, and the length of guard
element is 150mm, the total length of the probe is 450mm. The flat
probe L890C is suitable for measuring massive material which can
avoid the damage of probe pole caused by material wallop. And,
L863WC flexible wire probe and L864C probe for high temperature are
available.
