1. The influence of broken bar to motor performance

The broken bar decrease the start torque and efficiency, and increase the resistance, consumption, temperature, and slip ratio.

3. Rotor testing machine introduction

  • The machine can be applied to laboratory and production line to test the rotor conducting bar.
  • Dimension range: Outer diameter 60-130mm, Inner diameter 10-50mm, lamination thickness up to 180mm.
  • Rotor testing machine is mainly composed with IPC, master unit and test bench.
  • Separate horizontal test bench, the machine is suitable for different size of rotors, and the test data is stable.
  • High precision: the machine can test the broken bar, thin bar caused by manufacturing process and bad material.

 

4. The reason of broken bar

4.1 The core of the rotor is pressed too tight to expand after die-casting aluminum, and there is too much tension on the aluminum bar to pull the aluminum bar apart.

4.2 After casting aluminum, the mold is too early to be removed, and the aluminum is not solidified well, then the aluminum bar is broken because of the expansion force on the iron core.

4.3 Before casting aluminum, there are inclusions in the slot of the rotor.

4.4Slotted holes are forgotten to be punched when punching the silicon steel sheet.

4.5 Porosity is in the aluminum strip, or the slot cleaning is not good, and there are inclusions in the aluminum liquid.

4.6 There was time gap when pouring the aluminum. The poured aluminum water cannot be combined since the aluminum water is easy to be oxidized, and "cold partition" appears.

 

5. The reason of thin bar

  • The iron core preheating temperature is low, and the fluidity become badly when the aluminum water poured in.
  • Wrong rotor iron core, slot line is not in a line, which block the aluminum water flow.
  • Aluminum water flow slowly caused by the small slot (under this condition, the iron core preheating temperature need to be improved).
